Zoya Fei Fei

Today I bring you FeiFei.  This is one of two colors I picked up from the Diva Collection.  It is truly a unique color, which is why I bought it.  Zoya describes it as a medium steel blue base with heavy gold, blue and pink iridescent metallic sparkle. A truly unique sparkling iridescent blue that adds a magical look to the nails.  It is like nothing else I've ever seen, and nothing else I own.  I think you either love this color or you don't.  I love it!

It is hard to put into words what color FeiFei actually is because it is packed with different colored glitter.  It is also hard to get a decent picture of it.  Depending on the light it is a gunmetal blue grey color, other times it has a more aqua or teal hue.  It is packed with gold micro glitter, and also has blue and pink micro glitter adding to the sparkle.  The pink sparkle sometimes looks pink and sometimes has a purple hue.  I love it, it is the perfect compliment for the dusty hues of fall for when you need some sparkle and shine.  I feel like I could wear this to work because it isn't too bright or loud.

For being packed with so much sparkle, FeiFei goes on pretty smooth or with just a little texture.  One coat of Diamond Dry top coat smoothed everything out.  I used 3 coats of FeiFei in all of these photos, but had full coverage at 2.  I went with 3 to see how much different it was from 2, and it was just a little darker.  I will probably use 2 coats in the future to speed up dry time, 3 coats took a little longer but wasn't terrible.  I didn't have any application issues, which is what I've come to expect with Zoya.  No chipping and just minor tip wear on a couple of nails after a few days.

Check out the sparkle.

LypSyl Intense Protection LypMoisturizer Review

Another product I received in my Naturals Influenster VoxBox for testing was the LypSyl Intense Protection LypMoisturizer.  I am lip product obsessed, so I was excited to try this out.  I've always got chapstick or lip balm/gloss in my pocket, bag, or near by.

LypSyl is a lip balm made with pure Swedish Beeswax.  It has a pleasant minty flavor and scent.  It contains coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamins A & E.  The tube holds .1 oz/2.83 g, a normal chapstick container holds .15 oz/4 g.  Unlike other chapstick type containers, it doesn't have the typical screw type bottom to lift the product out of the tube.  The tube looks larger, so you would expect it to hold more.

LypSyl has a cute bee slide mechanism that pushes the product up.  You have to push it with some pressure to get it to move. I think this is a great idea because when I keep my chapsticks in my pocket sometimes the screw mechanism can push the product into the cap and make a mess.  Since you have to push the bee kind of hard I don't see this happening as often.  With the cold weather coming up in the North East, I would actually feel comfortable giving this to my kids to use since they are always ruining my chapsticks with the screw mechanisms.

The very first time I used it I thought it was a little greasy, but I used my normal lip product later in the day (another minty beeswax chapstick) and its about the same.  So the verdict, LypSyl not greasy.  Atleast no more greasy than any other brand that I've used.

I've never seen LypSyl in stores, but I went on their website www.lypsylhome.com and it is available at most major drugstores and online at www.drugstore.com.  I'll definitely keep an eye out for it in the future the next time I need a lip product refill.
